Configuring Color Monitors
Introduction
For workstations that have both grayscale and color monitors, you can designate which monitor is the color monitor to facilitate the color series management.
Steps
- To access User Settings, do one of the following:

- Click Image Display.
- In the Viewer Window panel, select one of the color monitor location options:
If you want to do this... |
Choose this option... |

Indicate that your workstation uses only color monitors to view images. |
Select No grayscale monitor. |
Indicate that the color monitor for your workstation is on the left. |
Select Left most. |
Indicate that the color monitor for your workstation is on the right. |
Select Right most. |
Note: | If you have a workstation with two color monitors on either side of your diagnostic grayscale monitors, you should choose the color monitor to display the color images. For example, if you want the color images to display on the left color monitor, select Left most. |
Results
Synapse automatically saves any updated options and displays the following message in the bottom left corner of the window: Successfully saved.
Synapse displays the following message to alert you that an action must be taken for the settings to apply: Refresh the Synapse browser window for settings to apply.
