Preset Overview
Introduction
Presets consist of configured Window Level or Fujifilm processing algorithms or both. You can apply presets to images to change how images are presented, such that different types of pathological findings are easier to identify.
Note: |
Sometimes when you save an image preset with the Save Image Presets option on a Synapse 4.x workstation, that saved preset is not available for that study on Synapse 5.x Viewer. |
Window Level Presets
Users can create Window Level presets, adjust contrast (WC setting) and brightness (WW setting) levels, and assign a hotkey (keyboard shortcut) for the preset. Multiple presets can be assigned to the same hotkey. In addition, image presets apply only to the modality for which they were created (e.g., a CT preset affects only CT images).
Mixed Modalities and Presets
When you apply a preset to a mixed modality series, such as a series containing both PT and CT images, Synapse only applies the preset to other images of the same modality (e.g., a CT preset affects only CT images).
Presets can be configured for any modality. Contact your System Administrator if you need additional presets.
