Saving Reading Protocols to System

Introduction

As a System Administrator or a user with the appropriate privilege, you can save user reading protocols to the system so these reading protocols are available to other users.

Steps

  1. Click the arrow on Settings to display the drop-down menu. Select Settings. The User Settings dialog box opens.
  2. Select the Reading Protocols tab to display the RP Directory.
  3. Right-click the reading protocol you want everyone to use. A context menu displays.

Tip:

Use the CTRL or the SHIFT key for multiple selections.

  1. Select Copy to System.
  2. Select Yes to save the selected reading protocols to the system.

Results

Synapse copies the custom reading protocol and places this reading at the system level so everyone with the appropriate privilege can use this reading protocol.
