Viewing Synapse 3D Content from Viewer

Introduction

If your study has content in Synapse 3D and the Synapse 3D application is configured for your site, you will see one or more of the following objects in Series Picker:

  • Synapse 3D Snapshot
  • Synapse 3D Reports
  • Synapse 3D DICOM series
  • Synapse 3D Movies
  • Synapse 3D Captured Image

For instructions on how to use Synapse 3D software, see the Synapse 3D User Manual, available in the Synapse 3D application.

Note:

  • Your System Administrator configures Synapse 3D.
  • One Synapse 3D user account can open only one Synapse 3D session across an enterprise.
  • If you do not have the Synapse 3D privilege and open a Snapshot created in Synapse 3D console mode, a blank viewport results.
  • If you volumize a series while displaying one of the findings for an image with multiple findings, the volumized series might display the AI findings icon with an asterisk in place of the finding number. This occurs when more than one, but not all of the findings display. For example, the AI findings icon could display */4 instead of 2/4.
    • Additionally, the total number of findings per slice in the 3D slice might differ when you are displaying partial findings in 3D view and then switch to 2D view.
