Viewer Context Menu and Icon Menu Options

Introduction

Most Viewer context menu options have a corresponding icon menu option. Synapse changes the icon to a gray color when this option is not available for a study.

2D Slab Thickness:

Slab Thickness on/off

 

Toggles 2D slab thickness on and off. See Using 2D Slab Thickness.

2D MinIP

 

Shows the image plane rendered by Minimum Intensity Projection (MinIP) for 2D. See Using 2D Slab Thickness.

2D MIP

Shows the image plane rendered by the Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) for 2D. See Using 2D Slab Thickness.

2D Slab Thickness:

2D MPVR

MPR on/off

Oblique

Cycle Orthogonal Plane

MIP

Shows the image plane rendered by the Minimum Intensity Projection (MinIP). See Accessing MPR View.

Shows the image plane with no slab thickness, as rendered by Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR). See Accessing MPR View.

Cycle Projection

Apply the changes to only the selected images in the series. See Selecting Images.

Arrow

Creates arrow annotation. See Adding an Arrow to an Image.

Bookmark Image

Toggles image bookmark flag on and off. See Creating and Manipulating Bookmarked Series.

Cine

Starts cine. See Using Cine.

Clear View

Clears the viewport of an image or a series.

Comparison Study (Next)

Displays the next comparison study or group of comparison studies.

Comparison Study (Previous)

Displays the previous comparison study or group of comparison studies.

CTR (4 points)

Creates a CTR four-point annotation. See Measuring CTR.

CTR (6 points)

Creates a CTR six-point annotation. See Measuring Sloped CTR.

Density

Displays the pixel density value using the density tool. See Measuring the Density Value of an Image.

Displayed As Acquired

Reverts image display to displayed as acquired. See Applying a Preset to an Image.

DICOM Header

Displays the DICOM header information for a selected image in a table. See Viewing DICOM Header Information for an Image.

DICOM Transfer

Exports a series or study to a configured destination. See Exporting a Series or a Study to Another Destination

Center
